Fuel system issues.

I posted on the weekend about some problems I was having, unfortunately none of the suggested solutions helped. Symptoms have changed, plus I know a little more now. I replaced the fuel pump (pump only) a couple weeks ago. Car ran great for a few days, then when driving wanted to stall out when pushing the accelerator. I pulled over and the car idled fine and reved all the way up when slowly brought up manually at the throttle, but sputtered when you simulated normal acceleration. Seemed like it was being starved rather than flooded at the time. So far I have replaced the fuel filter, took off the throttle body for an extensive clean, and checked and replaced any questionable vaacuum lines. Now the car only runs for a second when I crank it over. Took the rear floor out so I can listen better, and tried a bit of carb cleaner in the intake. Runs normally with carb cleaner for a few seconds, and after the car stalls out I hear the pump run for a second then the relay kick it off. I'm figuring that the pump is only allowing enough fuel to start the car because everytime after it stalls, the pump runs for just a second. I replaced both the fuel pump relays last night and same thing. I just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas before I yank the punp out again.
Thanks.
