I've read on here: Tilt front seats all the way forward. Pull up rear seat bottom and tilt it vertical, then lay seat back down flat. Do all removals of things that hold top up. Undo rear seat belts from rear side pillars, then put a flat bar behind middle of those cloth covered pillar covers and bow them inwards. That shortens them and they pop out. Careful not to crack them. (Recover them too.)
Then with everything that holds it removed, drop headliner and feed it up onto dash as far as it will go. THEN you can drop the tail end of it below the package shelf, and sail it down into trunk, then up and out.
You could remove the package shelf if you want.
It's made of a kind of puffed fiberglass punkboard, no real strength, so be careful. Lots of tips on here about removing the foam traces with say a wire brush, then carefully filling any damaged areas with body filler and sanding so they don't show up thru the new cloth.
Have help while stretching cloth on is one tip I've read.
Good luck and post results.
