ABS pump won't stop running - intermittent ! help !

Just when I thought I'd mastered ABS. 90 SPG. Here's where I am. Relays are good (I am 100% sure and have 5 good pump relays). Replaced accumulator about 6 months ago with brand new unit. 14 pumps to get both lights, it checks out good.
Every so often generally when its hot out both ABS lights come on. At that exact moment I dont lose brake boost but get a brief "abs" pulsation every time I step on the brakes, then brakes are sort of normal (ie I have boost). I figured out that ABS pump was constantly running when this was happening. And when I look at the reservoir, fluid level is above the "full w/ charged accumulator" level. Which to me says the pump is running but the system isnt pressurizing.
Few weeks back I found a bit of corrosion on the side pressure (5 prong) awhile back, cleaned it up, thought I had solved it. Drove to Florida, back, all over. No probs.
Then today at lunch. Got in car. Drove awhile. Stopped. Got back in car. Have the ABS pump running all the time thing with both lights on.
Drove car a mile, parked it. Fine after work. Can't replicate.
I don't want to burn out the pump. What in the world could this be? I'd say bad pressure switch but then why would the pump keep keep running?
Thanks to all you gurus (ari! help !)
