Watch out for those yopless drivers!
I don't seem to mind traffic jams too much. There is a particular mindset to driving a convertible, similar to riding a motorcycle. It's the opposite of the Jeep syndrome of "I'm exposed therefore I'm invincible."
I like my manual convertible. The imbecile in the truck behind you, who almost mounts the back of your convertible between gears, can easily see your arm making the shifting motions, and Johnny's hopelessly inbred synapses slowly start to fire. All this despite having "5 Speed" emblems on the back of both of my Saabs.... Duhhhhhhhh...
I think Farfervnugen in Swedish translates roughly to "Nein-hundrett caabrio" but the only Swedish I know came off the fusebox cover on our '85. To put it into perspective, though, driving around some beautiful countryside with the top down for me is tied for second place with driving around in two feet of snow in my '88 with four Hakkas.
You have my thanks for converting another 900 and undoubtedly saving it from the scrap heap for a while longer.
