he probably means the "ECU." its the computer that runs the fuel injection system. not sure off hand what the part number for the '91 is, but if you pull the carpet from the right hand side of the passenger foot well, you can see it and the number. get the Bosch part number it starts with 0 280 000 --- it's a box about ten inches square. you can actually see its outline through the carpet. if you can get the number, look it up on (e)bay. you should expect to pay anywhere from $150-$250 for the part, but it plugs right in. sometimes you can find them cheaper at junk yards if you're lucky. might also be the fuel relay. it plugs in right above the ecu. try turning the key to the "on" position without starting it. can you hear the fuel pump working near the hatch?
