Also why car is not charging and is dying.
I wouldn't replace much of that wire, just back to where it broke off, plus a decent amount of slack
It's green and white.
It comes out of a section of black solid-tube wire loom that is wire-tied to the split wire loom around the big positive cable to the alternator. A similar shorter piece of black tube should have a blue wire coming out of it that goes to the oil pressure sender.
Find that black tube and slit it up the side till you find the broken-off end of the green and white wire. It should be right there, but you may have to cut back a way to find it.
Make sure you do a good splice; I like solder and a sleeve of heat-shrink tube over it for insulation. Even a tiny wire nut will do however but make sure there's no strain on the splice - - wire tie it tight onto the adjoining black sleeve to keep it from pulling.
Happy Saabing.
I could see your plight from your earlier post but had to bother to pop my hood to take a close look so I could answere you.
Happy Saabing.
