Generally speaking, yes - that's normally how the thing is wired. You'd need to figure out the amp draw from amp's "turn on signal" & the antenna, and compare against the "remote" lead rating on the head unit. Usually, those are rated at a fraction of an amp - .2a comes to mind, but I'm sure that varies from mfg to mfg. You don't want to overdraw from the head unit.
That all said, assuming you're not running more than one amp and the JVC only has one remote-on lead (as Pioneer does, and Clarion doesn't), chances are you're fine.
