Oil leaks typically don't warrant rebuilding or replacing the engine. If you have a lot of leaks, you may want to check your PCV one-way check valve. It is installed in the small vacuum line that goes into a plastic elbow that pushes into the valve cover. It should only pass air one way (towards the intake manifold, not towards the valve cover). If it is broken you can build up pressure in your crankcase that causes oil leaks. Good luck, Ken
