arc the starter, grab a screw driver and connect the prongs on back side of the starter (ignition on)
once the starter is jumped the car will start, if nothing happens even after arcing, its a power problem.
connect the volt meter to the starter and see if you find any juice.
in-fact what just hit me.... when i was filling up with gas at some random gas station i had the same issue when trying to leave, lights in dash came on, all power worked
however the stereo was turning itself on and off, and the motor was not turning over. the only time the stereo would do this is if the car`s battery was on the verge of dead.
but it made no sense to me because i just dropped in a new battery.
i went to check connections and it all looked normal.
it wasn't until i pulled the positive battery terminal is when i saw the massive amount of corrosion on the outer walls of the battery terminal and within the positive battery clamp.
cleaned out all the corrosion and reconnected the cable and she started right up and has been fine ever since.
i see you charged the battery only reason i brought up the situation i was in is because its possible to charge the battery with out pulling it from the car or pulling the battery cables, if this is what you did, take a look under you positive battery cable and clean the corrosion there.
if you pulled the battery to charge it.... then i got nothing
