Lemons was fantastic. The quality of the event was much higher - better drivers, better cars. I think the organizer made substantial progress in getting the kinks ironed out - really the only complaint I have this year is about the track itself... the track staff continually changed policy about fees, parking, paperwork, etc., and it was a real drag. The worst part was that they interrupted the race TWICE for on-track antics involving various Altamont staff. Ha ha, very funny - they weren't the ones baking in a stripped out race car in 100 degree heat while a fake red flag was being waved. Total BS...

We escaped with only minor body damage and a fried engine, but had no failures ontrack. It was awesome pitting in, changing drivers, and heading back out with no muss or fuss. Few things we could have done better, but it was really a strong showing IMHO.

I'm looking forward to the next one...!
