replacing the ICM did not fix. there are some other problems with the wiring of this car that need to be addressed. I am finding short circuits all over. strangest thing is no fuses are being blown.
so to conclude this post thread.
-The fuel pump relay is not switching on.
-no open-circuit faults were found in the fuel system or the ignition system.
-short to ground faults have been found at: the fuel injector side of the fuel relay, #22 fuse (ignition sys fuse), as wells as a few other connections in the bulk head connectors (found while tracing the faults at the #22 fuse).
This problem is really messing with my head and taking up a lot of time.
