About 10 tears ago I was looking for a small trailer to tow behind my convertible that I could mount a Thule box on. I looked all over until I settled on a Jet-Ski trailer. It is very heavy duty, great for long trips. I cut the center bar (the part the hitch is on) shorter because I didn't need such a long trailer. I took off the Jet-Ski supports and mounted Thule bars on it. I've used it with a Thule box mounted on it, with 5 bikes mounted on it, and with two kayaks. The Thule system makes it very versatile. I also made a 4x6 cargo box for carrying pickup truck style loads. I've taken it in long trips (over 5 hours 1 way) and it never gave me a problem. It also tows so well you could forget it's back there. Probably because of it's wide wheelbase and large wheels. I originally paid $450. It's still going strong. Not sure what they cost now.
