While sitting it might have leaked down to below the point where clutch system feed is. So fill it before trying bleeding again.
Also, who did the work replacing all that clutch stuff? Did they succeed in making everything work once it was all in place? Or are you maybe inheriting the mess of their slightly-failed installation?
Possibly the pedal got pushed before the clutch slave was bolted fully in place and it could have pushed the back out, blowing fluid past the seal.
Or as has been sort of suggested already, line fitting might have been left loose at slave cylinder, or bleeder screw left loose. Simplest - - tighten and bleed.
Even if it's a little more than that, if what they did was all with quality parts you might just have to disassemble, clean up, put clutch slave back together, reassemble and bleed.
Then - - - DRIVE!
