the new ball joints are to tight.
installing the one bolt to the steering knuckle if the bolt is wrenched tight as tick in a--hole then the ball-joint will bind & when the wheel is turned it locks the wheel in what ever direction it is at.
that one bolt should just be snugged up, and i have noticed some aftermarket ball-joints are so tight right out of the box when their installed on the car it locks the wheel or makes it stiff no matter the tightness of the bolt.
the only way to go with ball joints is o.e.m. saab and don't tighten the bolt so tight one could squeeze grease out of it, snugged up it will last a very long time.
i have found going with aftermarket ball-joints that are tight right out of the box, this particular joint only gets 40,000 miles down the road untill the joint binds itself to death and trashes the joint in no time at all.
sure the joint is only 12. buxs compared to saabs 50 buxs a joint.
but the money is well spent.
