Since it's my 3rd C900 (I've have some posts here about AeroFlop and Aurora; but they're M1984-85 and have no sway-bars) I've checked all bushings already: control arms', shocks', engine's (although they're of hydraulic type). Control arms have no cracks.
Checked tie rod ends with steering wheel tickling a bit left and right when car is idling and having my arm on each end - ok. Nice TRW in a good shape :)
Not clear on exhaust brackets. You mean those rubber hangers? They're fine.
Please clarify on 'movement in shifter', don't follow, sorry.
And you see it's not a noise. It's about... Just say 'Doom' (remember that game?). Doom... Yeah, sounds good enough. Doom. My knocking is like this 'doom' when falling into pits or so on a low speed.
I even though on a seat belt for the middle passenger on the rear sit (it it's hanging free behind the seat in the trunk). Nope, there's the same 'doom' even if this belt is fixed.
Zig
P.S.
Btw should sway-bar end-links tight fit the sway bar? Mine are about too loose according to my common sense and experience (not saab related since my prev saabs don't have sway bars as I've mentioned). But the rubber inside them look good.
