I first drilled out the revets. Pulled the whole thing apart taking pictures along the way. (Just in case) I then striped all the paint and caulk off of the whole louvers. There is a small piece of hard rubber on either side of the louvers that hard to see when put together but I found was part of my noise problem. When I had all the pieces powder coated I used a new piece of rubber I found at the parts store and then re-caulked the under side of every louvers. Or horz blade. I want to say (I can't remember for sure) the whole thing was kept together by 4 or 6 revets. I all so cut a small piece of vac hose and slide it over the resting point on the lower part of the louvers.
