starter with a coin. this will at least get you home. the ignition is inthe on position. my 92 hatch has been like this for 3 years! i couldn't do the repair on the streets of brooklyn, so, instead i pulled the consol that covers the ignition, and put a push switch between positive and starter wire on the back of ignition switch.this allows you to start the car. also put a rocker switch for ignition, seeing that thewhole system is already 'on'. still have it, still works great. plus can lock the car with engine running for a/c or heating. a big improvement, IMHO
