1990 16v base model. For about the past year my SRS light has been on, so it flashes at me for the first 3 minutes or so when I start the car then glows steadily the rest of the drive. Also, last night as I was just about home the radio started cutting out (just audio, not power). I thought the station was having broadcasting problems so I just shut off the radio.

This morning the car started fine with strong crank. After about five miles the ABS light came on, but it would go out briefly on deceleration. Another mile or so after that my SRS light started flashing, as if I had just started the car again. I tried the radio it had power but none of the stations would give me audio. Another mile or so after that I came to a stop light. I stepped on the brakes & everything seemed to work fine. I stepped on the clutch & the car died & all my dash lights came on. Flashers still work.

Now when I turn the key I get dash lights but nothing else. No click, no crank. I'd guess an electrical connection has come loose or fried, but have no idea where to start looking. About two years ago I was having ABS pump relay problems, but those finally went away after opening the relay & cleaning its contacts. About two years before that I had to replace the bad crank position sensor. I bought the 6"-wire splice-in one from eEuro & had to swap two of the three wires at the plastic midpoint connector due to color-coding differences. I haven't had any CKP problems since. Oh, I also replaced that sensor unit in the left fender well (4 wire? After the ECU?) when I had the CKP problem.

Any suggestions?
