Smart to repair '91 900T convertible, or replace it?

Greetings, all. I have a '91 convertible, as described above, with about 190K miles. Exterior and interior are in good shape, and I replaced the ragtop and added a satellite radio a couple of years ago. Have kept up on routine maintenance and had a few (transmission, radiator, etc.) bigger repairs over the years, but now have an oil leak starting in the head gasket, a strange noise in the transmission (estimate for fixing these two items is about $3,100), and some electrical systems problems, too. My choices seem to be to spend more money than I want to buy a car I might like, or spend a comfortable amount of money to buy a car I probably won't like, or spend an even smaller amount to fix the car that I love -- the Saab. Except that it might not make any sense at all to follow this last path, and I'm hopeful that some of you out there can provide some keen insights or just good opinions on whether a Saab fix makes sense. Thanks!
