I would take out the condensor to work on it. I am assuming that the male threads were damaged, but the female may be as well. Don't let any chips or filings get into the line -- you may want to put a temp plug into either end when you are working on it.
If you take it out, it will be easier to get a die for the condensor and tap for the nut ( if you need one, it would be a bottoming tap ). Very very carefully, I would try to use only hand pressure on the die to get it to engage the thread of the condensor. Use a little oil on the threads. Then take the mating nut and see if it will easily connect -- take it off the car and dry fit it so you know it will connect easily.
Then, put all the components into position on the car, but do not secure them -- make all the connections before you fasten down the condensor, drier, and line straps. Once everything is connected properly, then tighten the brackets and finally then tighten the connections.
Come to think of it, these may be pipe type thread geometry -- I have the upper, but not the lower. If it were me, I would go to a Fastenal to see what the thread geometry is -- they have the taps and dies as well.
I have also used a fine triangular file to carefully route the threads out of the crossthread they are in. Go to the first good thread and carefully work your way back. It helps to do this while the inlet is pointing down so no debris gets into it.
