supersaab,
As you probably know the clutch and brakes share a common fluid reservoir so if that res. is empty that could be the result of a leak in either system. How are the brakes? Check every inch of both systems for brake fluid where it shouldn't be. Check the hose from the reservoir to the clutch MC. Of course if that hose is shot your reservoir will drain and you'll soon have no brakes or clutch. Inspect the line from the MC to the slave, they do rust out. Pull the plastic shroud that conceals the clutch and look for evidence of a leak at the slave. Brake fluid will wash off and leave little or no evidence so you may have to refill the reservoir, bleed the system, and work the pedal(s) to locate the leak. Finally you may have an internally bad master cylinder. There would be no external leaks but the piston seals are shot and just bypassing the fluid inside the MC without moving it. Good luck
