As long as you don't have any other rough running (misfiring, lack of power) that would indicate a massive leak (such as a leak in the rubber intake boot or a failed intake manifold gasket) I would check the idle speed valve to see if it's stuck open. It's rare, usually they stick closed, but it can happen either way. Once that is done, you may want to pull out the fuel injectors and see if they close all the way, though you say you've checked one out of five, the cold start injector, already. The next possible culprit is the idle valve and switch. Make sure there is no debris or depositry holding the idle valve open and be sure the switch is closing at idle.
Beyond that, be sure all the vacuum connections are intact. Also included are the plastic fittings and rubber grommets where they plug in. If your car is a five speed (and was from the factory) this includes the bypass solenoid for deceleration. Check that the solenoid is fitted in the side of the rubber intake bellows.
