He asked about the cost from a small Saab shop to do the job.
$300.00 sounds like a lot doing it yourself. You could skip on the rear main seal and clutch seal together with machining the flywheel. That would keep the cost down even more.
Maybe reseal the slave cylinder instead of replacing and go with a new clutch disc only and keep the old pressure plate.
Skip on the engine degreaser, brake cleaner and Loctite/sealant.
Get Chinese parts and you'll be out $100.00 tops
It is always a cheaper way of doing things, If you get my drift. ;o)
