I'm not certain this is relevant but I think it is.
I am a proponent of "push bleeding"
I use a veterinary syringe--60 cc (2 oz) with two sizes of tubing, one to fit the taper on the plastic syringe and one to fit tightly over that which then makes it large enough to fit a bleed screw. I'm told that a similar syringe can be had at AutoZone/etc.
I've proposed this many times on the MG Experience (another "orphan" car, in a way).
The prcoess is to use the syringe and evacuate the MC, spit it into a trash bottle. Fill syringe (to maybe 30 cc) with fresh juice. At the slave (or brake cylinder) fit the tun=bing over the belled fitting then crack it open and slowly push the new juice in. When the piston is stopped, close the screw. If there is fluid in the MC, enough to cover the holes at the bottom, just fill teh MC and youa re done.
For brakes you need to (a) suck out the stuff from the first feed-in and dispose of it. (b) Then do the second feed in from the next wheel cylinder, extract and dispose of that MC content, repeat for 4. After that, if the fluid in the MC is all clear, just top off and you are done., If it is murky (from th 4th push) repeat the push and then top off.
If I skipped a step, I hope the process is clear anyway.
It works, it works for one person alone (no shouting "push and hole") and it is pretty fast.
Oh...on the clutch slave. I'm not as familiar with the SAAb slave as the MGB slave. You want the hose connected to the topmost of the two ports and the bleed on the lower...so you push air out the top, On the B, slaves come this way but many figure it's wrong and swap them, so it bleeds better with the push and hold. Well...ok. But put em back if you want to use my method.
