hi again...
87 non-turbo 8 valve... yesterday began experiencing stalls after engine was warm. When cold, it idles fine but as soon as temp is up it drops quickly to zero on deceleration, otherwise it runs fine and has power... ... the garage i deal with suggested it's the fuel filter but i'm curious if this sounds like it might be somehting else that many of the posts here seem to hint at (any help deciphering would be good). I have fairly limited tools (yes, tryng to improve on that) so thorough testing will be unlikely. have checked the fuses and looked aorund to see if any of the vaccuum hoses have become disloged, but it all looks (to my relatively inexperienced eyes) to be connected and proper.

should mention that i cleaned battery posts and gave electrical connections a spray with some contact cleaner over the weekend...was careful when disconnecting battery, but perhaps i fried somehting?

great board... learning lots about my favourite car ...
