Howdy folks. That plastic peice that slots into the distributor and holds the three wire connector has fallen apart. It now just sits on the side of the distributor. Could I get by with siliconing it in place? This seems like it would be a pretty common problem; and short of replacing the innards (that have been rebuilt) in order to replace the three wire plastic piece...
Thanks for any input. PS, I found another cracked hose going to hooter valve, AND found that the plastic plumbing was completely loose from the turbo hose! No wonder the idle was SNAFU.
