The Ford injectors and Bosch injectors are slightly different because they are rated 24# at slightly different fuel pressures. I *believe* the Ford ones deliver more fuel - I think the Ford ones are rated at 39psi and the Bosch ones at 3bar, so the Ford will be delivering slightly more than 24# at our 3bar. Either way, we're not talking much. Also, there are two or three generations of blue-topped Ford 24# injectors, with the latest ones having four distinct nozzles instead of one... these are very good injectors, with a superior spray pattern.
Landjet is spot-on - $30 is a screaming deal if they're young, and four times that is a good deal. You'll pay $100 or so each from the Saab dealer, and $40-$50 each from the Ford dealer.
Whenever I rebuild a Saab I always install a set of the Ford injectors. They make a tangible difference in performance (both power and economy) simply because they're new. We're fortunate that Bosch injectors are pretty high quality and don't tend to fail outright, but I think folks also take that for granted - an injector doesn't have to be completely dead to be not right. A healthy injector is good for fuel economy and throttle response - definitely an important component.
As for vvack's question - they should not affect mileage at all unless your foot is always in it. The O2 sensor keeps fuel at a specific level everywhere except at wide-open throttle, so assuming you're at part throttle most of the time you'll see the same economy with stock injectors or 24# injectors. Of course, you may see superior fuel economy with an injector that is fully atomizing fuel versus an old, clogged injector that is dripping it... But we're not talking about a big shift here...
