Darn slave cylinder screws!!!!

Probably the worst part about doing a clutch is getting out those damn slave cylinder screws. They are so close to the rubber boot on the slave, seems like changing to a hex head would make this clearence problem worse. The screw on the bottom took an a long curse-filled hour, with a trip to the store for tools. I finally got a 5mm hex bit jammed in there and an open end 1/4 inch wrench on the bit. Then the open wrench spread open some more under the pressure. Ended up getting it out with a regular hex key. I was ready for the torch, grinder, or sawz-all to cut through the slave cylinder. Seems like the ball-end type wrench would get ion there, but the ball-end is usually on the long arm of the wrench. I was ready to go back to Sears, buy the set of ball end wrenches, and take the torch to it to bend the long end (probably break due to hardening)
I was looking for a smaller head screw, like a 12 point cap screw, or torx head, but couldn't find any source for these on the internet.
