M88+ rear brakes. Selbraking in cold weather (+)

Hi, folks.
It's about -2C here (~30F) and today I was forced to play hard with parking brake and brake pedal to make my Valkyrie (C900 M93 LPT) not crawling but running as he did before.
What can cause this issue? Parking brake cables look fine but I really felt like my rear brakes were engaged. Hadn't met with this issue when it was warm here (neither in wet not dry weather).
CMyles, Austin, MS, zero-Matic, Anders, others?
Zig
P.S.
Btw if I upgrade my front calipers to 9K M93+ should I install new wheels with increased offset (lower ET) as well? Just bought Bob Sinclar few days ago, put it in and made it loud and... got my fronts overheated. The road was clear so it was almost ok but now I do take stock brakes as of low margin of safety.
