Hard to visualize
but I found a female connector that looks just like an FI injsctor connector floating loose today. It has likely been that way for 15,000 miles (since I had the head replaced) at least.
It comes out of the front of the wrap that includes the FI connectors, from the subwrap that includes the air flow sensor. It is in the front of the engine, above the intake manifold. Two wires: Blue w/red stripe and brown.
Car runs ok...no drivability issues. Non-turbo 2.1 1993. it is using more fuel than I think it should (20-22 mpg).
The connector does not look like it has been plugged into something in a long time.
WOuld SAAB put an extra blank connector in there for some option?
I took a photo but I don;t think it shows anything beyond what I've described. I spet 20 minutes looking and could not find a male for it within easy reach of the cable.
