I discovered an '89 900S 5spd "gray market" car with a full Airflow package. A serviceman brought it over from Germany years ago. The rural used auto dealer has it now and several other Saabs literally sitting in a field with 3-6 ft tall thicket surrounding each car.
I'm really only interested in the complete OEM airflow kit. The kit consists of fr/rr bumpers, wheel arches, whale tail, decor panel, badge, side vent covers, and silver mesh for front grill and side vents. The kit seems to be in decent shape and is still on the car. If I were to acquire it, it would be prepped painted and so on. The added bonus is the 2.1 head, 2.1 intake, and 3.0 FPR for my SPG upgrade.
The rest of the car is rather blah. Rust and more rust and reverse is shot. The car has been sitting for almost two years in the field exposed to the four seasons. The owner claims it'll run. His initial asking price is $750.00 for the complete car as he cannot part it.
What should I offer or expect to reasonably pay?
