Watching that 9995 buy it now auction eagerly, saw the one out in Cali with salvage title and f-ed odometer go for a high high price... seeing the prices on classifieds here, seeing others listed online for 4,5,6,7K.

All pretty interesting stuff. Basically it proves that we all have good taste. :)

I suspect alot of this increase is due to people (like myself) who had them as primary drivers/1st cars in the 80's/90's and are now buying these SPGs as 2nd cars (and thus are willing to pay a bit more).

Ie..my story... had c900's in the 80's/90's, the cars became moneypits, we dumped money into them. We focused on life/career,family, other practical things and stuff. Bought a house. Sold the c900. Then every time one drove by, ever more infrequently, we kicked outselves for EVER selling ours. Started sniffing around to see if there were any good ones out there. Convinced the wife or whatever. And bought one.
