weird warm start issue

today i was doing an oil change, and before i started i got the car nice and warmed up so the change would go by faster (its cold as hell out)
so now the car is warmed up, i start the car to move it into the driveway and it took about 20 seconds of cranking to start it. then after the oil change same thing, really long startup time. on the test drive around the bloc, i got to a stop light and it idled at 2500 rpms! it went away after i flipped a quick bitch to get home as fast as i could. but i have no clue why it did that. i let the car cool down a bit, still a little warm and when i tried to turn it on...nothing. no starter, no cranks, nothing. but when it was cold, started right up. and i think my AMM is bad because when the idle went crazy i unplugged it and it went away. when i plugged it back in i got the same high/low idle bounce.
