a couple of things:
first you need both of the din mounting boxes.
second you need to get the extension cable between the two boxes since they are mounted so far apart.
third, there is an amp under the passenger seat on the 9k that drives the rear speakers. you will need to either get that amp and change the wiring to make it work OR figure out the wiring at the din box and move the pins around to match the cable in the dash to drive the rear speakers.
I've done it, it's a bit of work, but I have made all of my 900's have the same unit as my 9k's, including the 6cd changer in the trunk. that way I can use the same magazines for the changer, and already know the buttons on the unit. you usually need to replace some speakers to get the sound acceptable, as in back to new stock sounding.
