Master cylinder for sure, doubt any problem with fronts

If your FRONT brakes were stuck open you'd definitely notice it, obvious massive loss of braking ability, when your brakes DO apply. (At times when pedal doesnt go to floor.) And if master cylinder is bad, as seems, of course front brakes will stay open, nothing pressing them in towards disk.
Pedal dropping IS master cylinder, or else a massive fluid leak which the tire place couldn't have failed to notice and would have mentioned. What year, can you get a kit? If it's ABS type, maybe it'd be worth taking your chance on a junkyard master cylinder.
Good catch on the headlight relay. Doubt your jumping the car had anything to do with it.
