ok, nearly finished 'reshaping' the spg back to original body structure with bondo...
question is, maaco do a paint job for $400, without the clear coat (keeping ed grey met), and $1100 with the clear coat. this car has a salvage title, so it's just for me.
$400 paint job will get me on the road for $2000 total...
$1100 paint job is going to get me a divorce...
How important is the clear coat?
never saw met paint without it, but guy from maaco says they do it all the time..
Also, how do i remove spg door panels? drill out the rivets?
\TIA
