Nice work, but I think I would have mig welded in a patch from a donor car instead of using all that filler. It's less work than you'd think, and a lot easier to get smooth. It's not too late... :-D

I just did the back rear quarter of a 900 from the cener of the wheelwell back and only had to use minimal bondo on the seam areas. I used a recip saw to hack what I need from a donor car, then layed that piece against the car and cut out a matching hole. I helt the pieces together with magnets along the seams and mig welded them together. You have to do tack welds aroud the perimiter first to keep the parts from warping. A little grinding and finishing off with filler and you've got a nice clean repair that doesn't thump when you tap on it. Another option is to use plug welds and use a backing plate along the seams. This option is probably better for what you're doing because it's a stronger repair on a larger area.
