you know these turbo motors are so touchy when it comes to something working right or not, but be assured the problem can start at coil all the way back to the plugs, and still it may be poor fuel.
white on plugs show the motors running lean/or hot even though i had the best results in max fuel mileage when the motor was running hot(just above operating temp.s)
with boosting all the time makes for a hot burn. think of a blow torch
with out adding air, the burn of the flame is hot but when the air (boost)
is added that flame jumps a few hundred degrees.
the more fuel you add to the burn is going to supply the burn will a bigger fuel mix to the air and will ultamitly result in a cooler burn.

it is hard to know if the white your looking at is normal operating temps, or if its way to lean.
what can be seen in the plugs is a miss match.
when the plugs are pulled you noticed they are all white and this is fine.
what you dont want to see is three white ones with one black soot-ed one.
or three black soot-ed one with one white one.
any difference in color is a clear sign of motor damage.

as in seeing if the plugs are spent just by looking at them is utterly imposable.
the reason a lean mix (hot burn) or a rich mix (cool burn) playes so big of a roll in boosting is to get the purest boost with out damaging the motor.
your boost is off and it will be with a lean burn.
with a lean burn the odds are great in making a knock for the knock sencor to shut your boost down.
with adding more fuel (riching the mix) you cool the burn lessing the chances of a knock and in turn delivering a full clean boost.

if wondering why dont we all go to a way rich mix to get the best out of our motor, and this is whats talked about as in a previous post of sooting up the motor and unreasonable gas usage. the performance was the best thing in the world and never once did i trip the knock. but i did have hard starts after restarting the motor when warm, and so on. its kind like trade one problem for another.

in upgrading from the 2.5 to the 3.0 is the best thing one could do for their turbo motor. the motor will run slightly cooler with a bonus of better hp, or better utilizing the motors current hp.
while i was running way way rich the operating temps was distinctly different from the stock set up in which the motor was dramatically colder, and all the plugs came out soot black if three would have come out black and one come out white i would have a serious problem somewhere.
but your problem of them all coming out white with green tips well... sounds like a cake try tasting them...

no im just kidding, the biggest problem i had was with the plug wires and diss, cap.
by looking in the plug wire (spark plug end) you will see the round metal that attached to the end of the spark plug, notice the little metal fingers that this metal cylinder has attached to it. these fingers can get bent in the way of the plug end, and when trying to attach the wire to the plug these fingers make for blockage, for the installer it feels as if the plug is properly connected and moves on to the next one.
the motor will run no problem like this, the spark needs to jump a 1/8th gap to the plug which gets it to fire. while boosting or at high rpm`s the spark can not keep up leaving the motor with a little better than base boost (a miss fire).

its vital to make sure the wires are properly connected.

the diss, caps points get a brownish burns on them, it can get so bad it forces the spark from the rotor to jump to a different spot on the point
after extended use and the hole point browned (or chard) the point will miss altogether, mostlikly when the motors at high rpm. (miss fire)

one last note.
the plug wire running from coil to diss.cap
i had to replace this wire a few times from it having a faulty sheath, letting the juice jump from wire to car frame.
after rapping the hole wire in loom i have not had a problem since.
might want to stop at the auto parts store and pick up a little loom and do this one wire if not a few others.

& HAPPY HOLIDAY ALL
