Happy New Year everybody. You guys are great for sharing all this info. I have always liked wrenchin' and now thanks to all of you I pick up new tricks all the time. I have often thought of turning my hobby into a real time job but working for the RR is great too. THey say that you should never turn you hobby into a job and I think it could ruin a great pass time. For now I will just have to use my skills to help out friends on their autos. Bought my red 89' C900 16v Non-turbo Saab last year after I totaled my POS GMC Sonoma (upside down rolled over). The Saab is my third vehicle. Definately a car for a engineer. While moving down to Texas from Washington second gear went out of my auto so I am putting in a manual for the last 3 monthes. Kind of funny how I have never owned anything newer than a 96'. I have had my Jeep Wrangler for the last ten years. I got it when I was 17. It was the first vehicle that I started wrenching on. Learned alot from it. So the only question I have for all of my fellow wrench turners is do you ever think of getting a newer car (1-2 yrs) but cancel the thought because you can't work on the thing. Might just be me. Do they have any Saab get togethers or shows in the USA? Would be kind of neat to see some different Saabs all at the same time.

Thanks Everyone,

I will have losts of new info once I finish the conversion.
