ok, replaced all bumper extensions with actual spg ones, replaced a couple of side panels, replaced/refinished mirrors, handles, window trim, .replaced signal lights, installed headlight wipers (i like 'em, not everyone does...), refinished all bumper/spg trim in SEM bumper paint (REALLY nice to work with), replaced side vents with spg type (refinished with sem), retrofitted regular seat-belts and nice headliner, including replacing the sunroof/making it actually aligned properly (PITA!), replaced all speakers, replaced front discs (zimmermans), replaced intercooler/piping with later type (10row/larger pipes), installed modified vac capsule, 3 bar fpr.
lots of tweaking/straightening to make it rattle free and close to new operating (adjusted doors, seat mechs, etc...), adjusted lights/hood for better fit, lubed all locks, etc...
all in: $1400 for car, $450 for spg trim/vents, $500 maaco paint job, $50 filler/primer, $40 SEM paint, rest of parts from my 92t donor car.
ALOT of time! (maybe 100hrs?)
thats all i'm doing for now-i am getting ready to really enjoy this one!
88 spg,
122,000 miles
