Use your car as a buffing wheel. Lift your front end and put the car on jackstands. Block the rear wheels. Put the rims in the front wheels of your car and put the car in drive. If it's a manual, you'll obviously need someone in the car helping you out. If you have a saab with an auto trans handy that would be better. Tape a garden hose to the car so that the water is flowing on the wheel and use wet sandpaper on a hard foam sanding block to gradually polish the wheels. If they are the ones I just saw on ebay a couple weeks ago, you may need to start with 400grit to get the heavy stuff off. If not, start with 800, then 1500, then 2500, then a polishing compound on a clean cotton towel. Duplicolor clear wheel coating does a good job of sealing. Make sure that whatever clear you use has a high temp rating or it will craze from the heat.
