in my '87 900T. No unexpected problems so far. I installed Bosch red top injectors (I don't have the p/n, but I think 31 lb/hr), and advanced the timing to 21 deg or so. On driving it initially, it would stumble under boost, as if starved for fuel. I pulled the fuel pump and disassembled it, and found that after 220k miles, the commutator had worn so thin that the brushes were mainly contacting the substrate metal. It was just strong enough to supply gasoline under boost, but the +30% flow requirement of the E85 was too much for it. I replaced the pump with another OEM Bosch and it's been fine. So then I turned up the boost in stages, to about 22 psi. The car was making plenty of power at this point- it would spin the front tires in 1st thru 4th gear, and slip the clutch in 5th. Shortly thereafter, I stripped all the teeth off 3rd gear and the trans locked up solid. As part of the trans replacement, I put in a 6-puck race clutch and bought stickier tires. Oh, and turned the boost down, to about 18 psi. It's been back on the road for about a year now, with no further problems. It gets about 21 mpg on E85. The bummer is that I recently moved from Michigan to West Virginia, and the closest E85 station is an hour away in Pittsburgh. I bring some home in 5 gallon cans whenever I'm up there, but I just can't drive it as much as I used to.
