I went from turbo springs to spg springs then to aftermarket lowering springs, I'd have to say the bigest difference was changing shocks, not springs!!! Case in point, my friend went from spg springs to aftermarket springs but kept his original shocks, his ride was cushy even though his car was lowered! Mine was harsh riding once I went with the Bilstien heavy duty shocks I mounted... The moral here is that its the shocks that mostly cause a supple or harsh ride, not so much the springs themselves! As far as I know, there is a difference in 900 non-turbo, turbo, and spg spring rates, and perhaps convertible spring rates too but not sure. Again, I have to stress, the biggest difference seems to be the shocks used to control the springs. You may want to buy a pair of direct replacement non-turbo or turbo shocks, they also make adjustable shocks where you can change the dampening to your taste, forgot the manufacturer, maybe "koni"?
