Any easy cure for lazy seatbelt tensioner?

Kind of a nuisance problem in my 90 SPG is that when the seatbelt is taken off, it no longer wants to reel back in by itself. It takes some gentle persuassion . Basically, the spring is weak after years of use. Is there an easy fix for this?
