1st and for-most i would point to the gas
if you frequent the same gas station and continual get the same grade of gas all the time may it be 87 90 93 what-ever go someplace else.
find a hess if possible and get the premium grade, throughout my driving every-time i filled up with Hess gas they never let me down.
if theres no hess try the gas station that has a good quantity of cars flowing through constantly,
know that the station you frequent might have lots of cars but think what grade of gas they are using.
even though there may be a good amount of cars they may all be getting 87 leaving the 93 just for you thats been sitting there for 2 years or more, and before the station needs to refill the 93 octane tank they have to wait for you to empty it.
just a note(shell high tess will not give good results, even though the gas will preform very good its crap, just because the stuff/ or additives they use or mix with the gass to,.. as they say (so called, clean vital engine components, these additives can keep the car from a full out boost.)
dont get me wrong, i wouldn't by pass a shell, but if i do use them i know i will never have a pure boost on the tank of gas even though the boost is good its not the best.
just like being a human, you got to know what it is your putting in your system.
if its rounded down that its not the gas, no way no how,
with the motor at idle do a tug test to all the wires, fuel injectors, distributor housing wires (the three wire plug),
slightly wiggle the diss. cap to see if there is any movement at all,
tug the amm wires, a.i.c. harness, go over the hole motor.
if you find a wire that makes the motor drop to a lower idle that wire is faulty and needs to be replaced.
with the vibration of the motor (expesually in boost) there is gr8 vibration and with this vibration its the same as your tug test.
anyhow while in boost the e.c.u. will pick this up and keep you from boosting/& or an all around good performing motor.
