yeah, circlips work well - i use the cheapie 'pre-formed' 90 degree pliers and just bust off the tiny tips first, so that you are using the stronger portion, plus this allows you to get in there easier.
it is usually the outer piston that seizes, not the inner one you are screwing in. I believe you MUST screw it in, not push it in, especially if the outer piston is seized.
Paul, I believe the newer ones need the newer hub plus you should have a longer brake hose from the body to the caliper as it attaches higher than on the old caliper.
