I think these are non-issues. When you refill the system with the bleed valve and heater valve open virtually all the air will be expelled out the bleeder. Be sure that the new thermostat is positioned so that the little bypass hole is on the high side. After you run the car up to N.O.T. and the thermostat opens and you achieve full circulation, then shut it off and let it cool down and you'll probably find that you need to add more coolant as any trapped air should have found it's way around to the reservoir. When I'm re-filling a unit I jiggle the radiator and heater hoses a little and bounce the fender a few times just to help dislodge any trapped air and send it on to the bleeder. Cheers
