When both of my mirrors came loose, I smeared a thin flat layer of clear silicon rubber sealant onto the back of the glass mirror. Remember to shim the glass inside the housing, while waiting for the sealant to cure! I thought of many type's of glue and this one will hold the best and fill in any uneven spots on the heater surface. This won't affect the heated mirror from working. It's been 6 years since I did mine, and still attached.
