I've stripped and disposed of my 1988 SPG donor car and am now tearing down my 1990 900T vert to pull the engine. I've got a couple (more) questions:

The Saabsite FAQ says that earlier inner drivers were smaller than the later ones and they are not interchangeable, but they don't specify years. So, are 1988 and 1990 inner drivers the same, and are they the same between manual and automatics, so that I can harvest the best set for the tranny going into the car?

I am going to use the tranny from the 1988 (166K miles) as a core, and getting an Eriksson Industries rebuilt -- will it come with the inner drivers and be ready to install, or do I need to transfer the extra bits in?

Also, are the transaxles the same between these two years and automatic vs. manual -- the sabbsite and eeuropart's listing seem to suggest this. True? I've got two sets now, and the set on my vert was in good shape, so what's the verdict? TIA.
