I have a '92 turbo, and when I first bought it 3 months ago, I would place a cd in, it would spin a little then stop and spit the cd back out a few seconds later.
I just spent 165 dollars at a certified Clarion repair shop to fix my cd player.
The Clarion shop said "you need a new laser assembly". Okay, fine. Okay'd it, paid it, still doesn't work.
The shop guy says it works on the bench in his shop. He asked if I have a cd changer, I do not. He theorizes that it may be a problem with each of the 2 units talking to each other.
Has anyone ever experienced this little slice of hell? Anyone know what the problem could be? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
gfreshski1
